Kasabian above Strokes? Are you having a laugh?

Even this year when Kasabians album has been out, they wouldnt be, nevermind next year.

I cant see the headliners being FF, Muse and Kasabian/Strokes, I have no idea what they would be, but that just doesnt sound right.

Seems quite an ambitious Line-up, but if it happens I'd so be there! Although I reckon I'll be there regardless anyways :P

What about other possible bands with up and coming new albums/tours:

Iron Maiden

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Coldplay

GreenDay

Them Crooked Vultures

Can't think of any more, but there's so many potential headliners and general appearances at next years festival :P

tbh i dont see why people would want muse headlining only 5 years after

their new album isnt even that good is it? (i havent listened to it)

foo fighters, with new material yes, or doing something like playing the colour and the shape (with a few singles thrown in from other albums)

strokes, i guess, i do like them, but didnt jules say theyre just doing stuff for the money now? id rather a band who was doing it for the love of their music, for the crowd

kasabian, no

    • She was/is 100% in the mix, but I don't know specific timings and how it relates to that interview. They've clearly gone after her, again.   It could be read in a number of ways - she was in negotiations at that point, she was talking about BST (and he's interpreted it, as we have, as Glastonbury). Who knows
    • So sad to see the news that John Douglas of the Trashcan Sinatras has died. They only released their latest album last week and it is wonderful.  So underrated and a member of such a great long running band that have meant so much to me over the last 40 years. https://trashcansinatras.com/blogs/news/john-douglas-1963-2026
    • listening to jamie east's podcast earlier he said that he'd heard fender is confirmed, and that as of 2 weeks ago Madonna hadn't been approached.
    • which would make that Graham Norton interview nonsense .... although obviously things change
    • I dunno - I thought that initially but I'm, reluctantly, edging towards not happening as it stands. Will continue to dig where I can, though.   Re 2028 - I wouldn't be confident. If this is the second time they've tried and it's gone belly up, it could be a case of just write it off.
