This i will be going Glastonbury aswell, a few friends have said they dont fancy Leeds this yeah as they think Glasto will sort of be a buzzkill, however i enjoy Leeds so im going back.

Do you think it will be ruined after ive been Glasto, plus how do you think R&L compares to other festivals youve been?

hard to say until we know for sure of the line-up but blink and guns and roses are poor headliners in my eyes so if they are announced then definately worse than TITP and even the Isle of White in terms of headliners. FR are going to have to pull out a decent undercard or NME headliners as if bands like limp bizkit and korn are on the bill its going to be one of the worst line-ups for many a year

I'm doing Glasto for the first time and Leeds this year, they're both completely different and can't really be compared.

At Glasto I'll probably be more into seeing the sights, walking around the site and taking it easy. Whereas at Leeds I'll see more bands and probably go a bit more wild.

Reading/leeds don't general try to be like other festivals or compete with other festivals as such. The festival has its own identity, although last year was very radio friendly and could of easily been V or TITP lineup. Comparing Glast with other festivals is like comparing Football with Rugby. But then compare Coachella to Glast, Coachella is like the disney land of festivals

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
