funny (or is it sad?) how some people are so against the idea though. i can't stand pan pipes, but i bet they'll feature at some point over the weekend, and if people want to listen to them, that's fine by me. i just won't be there beside them. but i certainly won't be saying 'why are you going to glastonbury and then worrying about watching pan pipes!? there are thousands of dodgy busker bands playing pan pipes in shopping centres up and down the country every weekend!!!!??!!'

Football matches turn people into idiots. If england going out means this can be avoided then yes, I couldnt care less whether millions of people I dont know across the country are disappointed

The last time a match was shown on the pyramid stage the atmosphere was amazing, the field was packed, so clearly people want to see it. I dont remember there being any trouble whatsoever when we lost. if we lose we are in the perfect place to forget about it, and if we win its the best place to celebrate. i dont see the harm personally.

There is a large thread somewhere on this subject with lots of opinions stated but plenty of people did see or experience some very unpleasent scenes after football at glasto, didnt see it myself but plenty of others did.
