T in the park

Neil, it is blatantly obvious that it is you that is a racist. I remember a couple of years ago you spouting crap about people at T being racist and it personally happening to you (which I doubt). Your posts here are not something I would expect from someone who runs a very successful site. Re-read your posts, you do sound very childish with your name calling etc! Its not very professional.

The writing was on the wall for the T forum when you pinned that libelous posts nonsense. You have still not told us exactly what sort of things contributed to a potential lawsuit being brought against the site...probably because no such action was ever brought against you. How can you expect people to know what can and can't be typed when you never actually explained it in the first place. Why not share this with us now???

Also, your coments earlier in this thread about T in the Park not attracting much traffic to your site is laughable...you only needed to look at the number of posts and comments the forum had to see that this statement is ridiculous!

Why not just say...I HATE T IN THE PARK and be done with it! I thought a forum was about differrent opinions, but it seems if someone has a different opinion from you then this is not allowed.

I must point out that there is a lot of crap written on this site, but what forum doesn't have that, maybe you should think about that Neil!

I'll still stay on the site for the Rockness forum (provided I don't get booted off) but there were a hell of a lot of people who posted decent stuff on the T forum that you have now alienated.

ffs some people should grow up, neil owns the site therefor it should be obvious that you shouldnt persistantly piss him off. This was the case as badger had already been banned. Neil decided to not take action originally when badger returned which they should have been gratefull for, however this surely means that badger should have been carefull when posting. This was not done and therefore it was obvious action would be taken. Stop moaning as it is resolving nothing.

not being the sheep that you're being currently, in believing it's got to this because I'm wacko, and every T poster was the son of god.

"he's my friend, therefore he's perfect". I thought people left that behind when they left school. :P

But it is all of us who have made this site successful....therefore he is actually biting off the hand that feeds him in many ways.

I do feel that if any of the so-called 'idiotic' posters were on an english festival forum the action would not be as harsh!

Ive said numerous times that this forum is a bad representation of Tinthepark. Too many patronising members and pointless posts! Hopefully some people stay away now! Granted i did find the forum very useful and informative but left me very frustrated at times, especially this year! Im kind of glad its been shut down and can see why Neil has done what he's done. But Neil you could put some of your points across a bit better. If someone insults u then be my quest and insult back but some of ur comments have been uncalled for.

I'll just stick 2 the Rockness forum now!

Why not block/ban those that were the problem and leave the forum up. Those that were the issue can simply post on other threads, ..........................like this one

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
    • I would be all over Wolf Alice but may have outgrown this venue.    Also have to consider the schedule they have been on this year so may be on a break.  This last 10 days alone they did Tramlines, New York, Chicago and Kendal Calling.  Although make hay while the sun shines may come into play.
