going to have to check out stormcock then...

£21 for the single ticket sounds tempting though, provided it doesn't go up by much more than a tenner.

although i'd happily pay around £60 face value for her, when it comes to transport and accomodation, it starts to get a bit silly. considering i've seen her live twice already.

In September 2007, Harper supported Californian harpist Joanna Newsom at her Royal Albert Hall performance. Newsom had been impressed by Harper's 1971 album Stormcock and it served as an inspiration for her second album, Ys.[2] During his Royal Albert Hall appearance with Newsom, Harper played Stormcock in its entirety. This was Harper's last live performance, and he announced on his website that he "...is now taking a break from the live scene... that he has retired from gigging and just wants the time and space to write..

This year (2010), Harper will once again support Joanna Newsom on several of her European Tour Dates.

HOT OFF THE PRESS - From RFH site

We have also just been able to release a limited number of tickets in the choir stalls for what promises to be two of this year's most anticipated gigs, as Joanna Newsom performs tracks from her new album Have One on Me.
