i kinda agree with you, i hope they aint hedling the mainstage just for the fact that we have more acts to speculate over who will be :P

yeah, im 19 and consider myself quite into music but up untill today i had ever heard of them, been listening to them all day and can imagine them being amazing live but cant see them headling the mainstage cause i text all my friends the announcement and most of them were like who the feck are leftfield

Thats what I was like with Orbital last year. I ended up f**king loving them by then end of summer.

I dont think they are necessarily big in everyones eyes. but I see where they get their name for being "the most influential electronica act" etc.

I could see them on Main Stage. Much more than orbital last year. For one thing Phat Planet is a maaaaaaaaassive tune. Much bigger than chime or belfast

ok I'm stoked about leftfield. Totally.

The weird thing about this board is that it makes everything different.

For example, I've seen soundgarden and loadsa people on efest boards dicuss whether they are headliner. Now having seen them I say no. But nostalgia and 'legend' hunters want them so they sell.

To be honest, compared to other acts people touting like chems (great band but can see them anytime) leftfield will shift on the nostalgia, never seen and legend for me, personally.

So I begin to wonder about the bigger picture. How much do the boards and the people on the boards repressent the people who go? and for those that leftfield on their own don't draw, maybe a couple of others could drag them along.

Also when everyone is comparing T to rock, rightly or wrongly, rock pulled something out of nowhere. That can only be appluaded. (big resist on the pun)
