First announcement predictions

Some obvious, some not quite so obvious. Here's my prediction of the bands to be announced on Monday:

AC/DC

Them Crooked Vultures

Soundgarden

Van Halen

Biffy Clyro

Paramore

Bullet For My Valentine

Wolfmother

Killing Joke

Although there will probably be more METAL than that.

Hope you're right about Wolfmother. Would love to see the top four on the Friday be:

AC/DC

Them Crooked Vultures

Wolfmother

Airbourne

Might be a bit of an Aussie overload though (even more-so if Homme brings his missus!) :P

Not sure whether them playing HRC a couple of weeks later makes Wolfmother more or less likely. I do think Airbourne will play too actually.

I've heard a rumour that there will be very few bands on the main stage on Friday as AC/DC's stage set will take up so much space. That's also the reason that they are playing Friday, so that they can set up and soundcheck on Thursday. We'll see.

Hoping for:

ACDC

Van Halen

Wolfmother

Metallica

Machine Head

Bullet for My Valentine

Lamb of God

Soulfly

Soundgarden

TCV

Biffy Clyro

Killing Joke

Guessing:

Alice In Chains

Metallica

Soundgarden

Five Finger Death Punch

The Scorpians

Megadeth

Steel Panther

Think Lamb Of God will probs be announced next month after their tour.

Wouldn't be surprised if Paradise Lost and Katatonia play as well, both touring new albums. And can see Lacuna Coil doing mainstage after doing 2nd stage last year, they touring new album of course.
