It is a fantastic festival - for anyone reading this thread that hasn't been, it has a great vice to it.

Past few years that's all thats been available. I've never got the bus with them to Wickerman as always took the car due to the fact of their departure time from Glasgow meant wouldn't get to the festival till 8-9pm on the Thursday night

Had our 1st experience at Wickerman last year as part of our Honeymoon and had a superb time, the music was ace and the weather couldn't have been better. Hoping to go again this year...wait and see what the money situation is like. The Undertones would be the one to see for sure.

I went to Wickerman for the first time last year and loved it. It had always clashed with weddings previously - popular weekend.

Last year I thought The Human League were outstanding on the main stage - total pop. Danced my heart out and then headed to the Solus Tent and danced some more.

Idlewild and Candi Staton were also highlights. The Zutons were a little disappointing for me.

In the Solus Tent - 17th Century, Pearl and the Puppets and Second Hand Marching Band did it for me.

Berry Tweed & The Chasers and The Amphetameanies were great in the Scooter tent.

For 2010

Teenage Fanclub have a new album coming out, I'd love to see them.

Marlena Shaw would be my shout for a kind of Candi Staton appearance. Or Martha Reeves.

Loads of good bands in Glasgow just now for the Solus Tent - Nevada Base, Futuristic Retro Champions, Sonny Marvello, The Cinnamons, Stevie and the Moon to name a few.

Personally, I don't think it's that bad but my judgement is maybe being clouded by Ocean Colour Scene being announced. Some may not find it that strong but the game's all about opinions, I think it's stronger than previous years, but you can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.

Whoever's playing won't detract it from being a crackin' weekend.
