Watched the Julien Temple one again last night, god i must be sad! It's the 4th time i've seen it since i bought it back in Oct last year. Just a great movie. There are so many little things that you miss and pick when watching again. just like the real thing, almost!

I think I might watch it again this week. I absolutely love it. The girl who appears at the beginning and throughout the film is very cute too. :P hehe

I still have to watch the 2nd disk properly though. I know there's lots of performances on there I haven't seen yet.

Just got mine today, watched the first disc earlier, and watching again slicing in different performances. It's brilliant, its got me really really really excited for it this year and if I am honest a little bit scared to :P

My favourite bit so far has been the durid guy who declared war on some guy called johnthan who was performing?, just made laugh :P and also the old guy who said he would go with a tommy gun made me laugh :P. Also you got appreciate Michael Eavis's sense of humour, when he was talking to the two cars in his truck and they asked if he had been before :P

I've made it a bit of a tradition to watch Temple's Glastonbury on the Tuesday night before travelling to Glasto. Gets me properly in the mood. Think it would make me too sad to watch it now, knowing there's still so long to wait.

I have just watched Glastonbury the movie streaming online and IMO it is nowhere near as entertaining as the Julian Temple film. Glad i saw it online and didn't waste money buying it. Way to slow and ( not sure about the choice of word here ) , Introspective. I like the fast paced Temple film and the interviews and running commentary add to the film, whereas the Movie seems, well, boring.

I think tonight may be the night to crack open the DVD and watch it for the first time in 2010!

I missed out last year as went to watch it and couldn't find the DVD :P - I had to watch it online instead but the streaming was rubbish. I found the DVD last week so I'm thrilled and plan on watching it at least 10 times between now and the festival! :P

    • would be delighted to have that back given ive got sweet fa personally since the inception of new system
    • Used had one of the biggest crowds in the Wave last year. Not really my thing but enjoyed it and the crowd were bang up for it. Might be too much of a step up on the Main though.
    • Thing is it depends on what the issues are - building a bigger stage would likely bring the Pyramid up to the relatively standard 20x20 space for "on stage" production which does make it easier for touring setups. But if for example she wants big / complex extensions going out in the field (such as she had in Rio) that would remain just as awkward to achieve without massively disrupting the rest of the day or potentially even weekend.
    • A month or so before any ballot a group of up to six is registered and a lead booker named.  That gives see tickets time to check if any individual’s registration, post code  and details appears more than once on different groups and removed then on ticket allocation day tickets the groups are just randomly balloted.  It’s felt like a ballot in the last few years, just sitting staring at the dreaded two lines, glancing nervously at the clock as time passes. Maybe the f5 refresh gave you the sense that you were actually doing something 😊
    • or can we just have Metallica back please 😄
