Blink-182 have confirmed European dates for next summer.

The reunited trio will play two German events, the Area 4 Festival on August 21 and Highfield Festival the following day (22), according to an official post on Twitter that directed fans to Blink-182's Pickrset page.

The dates' proximity to the Reading And Leeds Festivals, which take place the next weekend (August 27-29), has already lead to online speculation that the band will headline that event too, however there has been no comment from the festivals' organisers.

The festival appearances also raise the possibility of club shows in Europe next year, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

Aren't they appalling live? Although saying that they do remind me of the 90's listening to em loads so could be a bit of fun.

Can't see it happening mind, they're the sort of band who would demand a good slot but who don't really deserve it on the 40th anniversary.

travis looks good compared to the level of musicianship going on with the other two

but im not sure hes that great...enthusiastic sure

I think blnks main problem is that theur albums have slick production with lots of overdubs and live its just flat and they dont seem to care

They are doing the festivals in Europe in August, so highly doubt they will be about in June.

Also, Glasto doesn't pay and the latest seems to be that their relationship has once again come to a point where they just do shows and nothing else. The album has allegedly been binned off, so can't see them coming early to do Glasto, which won't be a pay day if that is the case.

as much as a dislike their music (well dislike is a bit harsh, it just does bugger all for me) i do like their fans.

the poor f**kers are so dogged, put upon and ridiculed but always seem to just take it in their stride and don't let it get to them and genuinely love the band and their music and i like to see that in a bands fans, they just take all the shit and carry on regardless and really do seem to have a lot of fun and not take the band too serious, we could perhaps learn a lot from them and then maybe enjoy bands like this a little more.
