I agree with all of this but the one I've bolded out reminds me of something that really annoys me - some cordials stink of shit. I don't know how else I can describe the smell, other than it smells of a mix of off milk and dog shit. Sometimes I don't know whether someone has opened a bottle of Apple & Blackcurrent cordial or squeezed out a fresh cleveland steamer on the kitchen counter.
