I'm annoyed by how f**king THICK i am!!!

Had to take my mums car to newcastle, but when I phoned up to pay my car parking, out of habit, i just gave my own registration number, so when I returned to the car on Tuesday morning, I had 2 parking tickets.

Absolute bloody idiot.

My 92-year-old granny getting cancer. That's gotta really suck. 14 years since her husband died, with very little to live for (she's a miserable old Catholic woman), then having a disease that's going to waste you away.

I was about to rant about the how a decent piece of totty in the office can only talk at you instead of to you and I only put up with it becuase she's easy on the eyes, but that seems a bit medicore campared to dakyras's conmplaint.

Best of luck to you and your Gran!

My mother's boyf has got the week off work so we were all gonna go out tomorrow to do something for the day. The original suggestion was that we'd go to the zoo because I love the zoo. Annnnnd then we realised it was gonna be £11 each admission, so for admission plus petrol costs and food and drinks and whatever else you spend money on on a day out, it'd end up being about £60.

Madre and her boyf cannot afford this. And no matter howwww hard I look, there is nothing equally exciting for less money. Nothing. And I am annoyed because I got all excited about going to the zoo and now we can't go and there's nothing more exciting to do and ERGH.

Take the bus, a picnic and see if there are money off vouchers on the internet (there often are for those sort of places). You might end up spending a lot less than 60 quid.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
