I really don't know what I'd do. At the moment, I'd probably see Stevie, but there are many factors that could influence me either way.

  • Would Ray play Celluloid Heroes (I adore that song)

  • Will it rain? :P (At least Ray would be under cover)

  • Would I ever get the chance to see either of them again (never seen either before)?

  • What if Stevie plays Misstra Know It All/Sir Duke/As/I Wish and I don't see it??!

  • If I can't get a decent place for Stevie, is it worth legging it over to the Acoustic Stage for Ray, only to find everyone is crammed in?

Although we don't know when/where he's playing yet, this is the worst clash I have ever had to face. :P

Ray Davies is touring before Glasto if anyone is worried about a clash :P

Have already got tickets to see him in Oxford on the back of his superb set last year - saw half of Neil Young before legging it over to the Acoustic Tent :P

Stevie, Davies, Faithless....who else can they book at the same time to cause another horrible clash? :P

Ray Davies doesn't need The Kinks or brother Dave any more. Like Macca he's carved out a solid post-the-band-that-made-him-famous career. He's a superb entertainer and great songwriter who definitly deserves a move to The Pyramid this year.
