After hearing so many good things about Brother's festival strength on here, I decided to try it when I realised the bar I was in on Friday sold it.

What wonderful stuff, I plan on training myself on it between now and June.

Can't wait to try it at the fabled Brother's Bar.

Be warned. After a hard days lounging and drinking all day strength drinks, a couple of Brothers 8% will have you on your arse. I know it did me.

I was blazing after 4 bottles on Friday, hence the need to train.

Where I work (Morrisons... :P ) used to sell Brothers, Festival Strength, Strawberry, Lemon & Toffee Apple, but now we only do normal and strawberry flavours, which is a shame. Apparently the Lemon, Festy Strength & Toffee Apples were just test runs or something, and I was skint in the fortnight period they were in stock :P

I've never enjoyed any cider. Those people who say it tastes like apple juice...no it certainly does not, it tastes nothing like!

I hate it when people say they can't understand how I don't enjoy cider, and proceed to keep telling me so.

It's a shame, I'd love to say I drank Brothers at Glasto but I sampled the Pear stuff from Morrisons and couldn't even finish the bottle.

At 14 cider was the first thing I ever got drunk on and vommed up my guts for hours the next day. Now the merest whiff of appley fumes makes my stomach churn - no matter what brand. I'll quite happily leave the cider bus to you guys, you will find me propping up wherever is selling red wine, far more civilised - and fewer toilet breaks needed

il drink brothers quite often, strawberry flavour is yummy, but cider in general jus reminds me of goin on holiday to brean when i was bout 14-16, drinkin a load of scrumpy, and then having (painfull*1) fumbles with some girl in the sand dunes :P

*1 sand is baaad, remember this peeps if you ever think that sex on a beach is in any way sexy or romantic !

edit: hey! i jus noticed the title of this thread reminds me of those days too!! lol!
