I think Ray Davies is passing through to the Sage Theatre in Gateshead but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to the gig and CSN are playing Albert Hall if I can remember correctly and I think I'll be down home in London then but tickets are like £89 and on top of already being a poor student to begin with I've gone and bought a ticket for Hard Rock Calling and V.

Judyblue110, want to buy me a CSN ticket, please?!

I'm not a student and I couldn't afford justify £89 ticket price! Especially when you think the legendary BB King on one of his few UK tour dates set me back £30 last year at the NIA!

One thing I'm going to throw out to the floor - what about Slash - he's probably doing Download and wants to do loads of Summer festivals in the UK... now The Cat in The Hat would be an awesome addition, especially if they find a decent vocalist and bring Velvet Revolver.

Anyone else think it could happen? I reckon he'll be at Glastonbury!

The organisers are dragging their heals somewhat this year, the event is only 3 months away, and tickets for both days announced haven't sold out and the Saturday yet to be announced at all. This time last year all three headliners had been announced with the Springsteen Sunday sold out within an hour of going on general release. I think they better start announcing some more acts to drum up a bit more interest.

This time last year only Neil Young and Springsteen had been announced, the Killers were the end of March (although that's because it was kinda tagged on as an extra day, really).

Springsteen was bound to sell out Hyde Park, I knew McCartney wouldn't (I blame this on the price of tickets + supporting lineup not being announced + he did a big show in London a few months ago and hasn't done anything new since).

Still, I'm getting impatient too. Maybe this week? :P

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
