Would absolutely love it Sunday Night John Peel I'd hope, and they're due a UK tour, they never toured Red album over here I don't think, but they've just wrapped up a tour supporting Blink-182 with Fall Out Boy in the states, and Blink are definitely heading over here next year, hopefully Weezer will still be supporting, then stay over her for an independant tour, including a few festivals!

I think they would probably have to be highish Other stage. They are pretty big and never tour England.

These guys would be amazing, hope they headline the other stage. The Blue Album is a quality album but IMO they are an extremely underated band.

All of my friends call them "nerds". What is so nerdy about them?

i actually wouldn't mind seeing them... nrly saw them supporting Foo fighters in the US yrs ago, maybe not headlining but high up other or headline JP... and ok maybe not a nerdish band but i know Rivers Cuomo has graduated harvard...

Weezer are great fun on record, however I saw them live a few years ago (when they were promoting Make Believe) and the performance was really wooden, was such a disappointment as I'd waited years to see them.

They seem to get touted for every festival every year but never end up playing. I've seen them once in Glasgow and they were very good. Nice if they played some festivals next year but I wouldn't be holding my breath

In fact, if I remember right... doesn't Rivers have some social anxiety disorder or something? Seem to remember reading that's the reason they hardly ever seem to tour.

Also, recently re-listened to Red album. Yeah, does have a couple of good moments, and of course any Weezer is better than none >_>... but it's just not a patch on any of their earlier work.

They do have enough great tunes to bang out a great hour or so in the JP. Like that idea if there's no major clash.

I'd love to see them!!! In my opinion Blue album is one of the rare albums which i can call 'perfect' not a duff song on there!! There's not many albums where i can say that!
