Hasn't Michael Eavis been quoted saying something along the lines of "Sunday's headliner will be a 'young person's' band"..

not sure what he was implying, but that must rule the Stones out for a Sunday headline slot?

It might be AC/DC. They are literally a Young persons band. Angus and Malcolm Young being the two brothers who formed the band.

Eavis has used the phrase before - I wish I could remember the band he applied it to but I can't, but I do remember it was the sort of act that fits for around a 25 year old rather than an 18 year old. So it defo fits for Elbow.

(and I've since checked out what I can for Elbow, and there's hints that it might be from a particular place which would know for sure).

But back on the idea of it maybe being Muse for a moment, I've remembered a bit more of why it's probably not - Eavis got so much hassle from locals about Muse last time that he went and booked Kylie for the following year to placate them. I really can't see him being up for a repeat.
