i hope so, i ,ove interpol and am yet to catch them live.

it's odd i was discussing with a friend the other night how i've not heard nothing from them for a while and how i hope they release somethign new soon and tour and then a day or so later read this news!

i also got Paul Banks solo album yesterday under his pseudonym Julian Plenti called "Julian Planti is Skyscraper" and it's well worth getting if you like Interpol.

yes i have the solo album, it's very good. I really liked it.

But yeah they haven't released anything since 2007 (which isnt that long i suppose), but its like they just dissapeared for 3 years. Haven't toured or anything. Would be great to see them return to England with a tour and Glasto appearence. Cant see them back at Reading again.

haha.... nah V festival never really appeals to me. The lineup normally has a couple bands i liek but the rest is stuff i really dont want to see. Plus when i see footage the crowd always seem very dull. Like the O2 Hyde Park gigs... they just seem flat. Plus it's way out of my way.

Will definatlty catch Interpol on their tour when they come over though...

Poor mans editors. :P

But anyway, I'll always remember them because at TITP 07 some fella turned to me and Rachelbon while he was pissing and asked if we were going to see Interpol, luckily enogh he didn't wee on my shoes.

    • I’d expect U2 & Muse to be options too.
    • I see there's yet another article doing the rounds about Madonna doing BST, and not Glastonbury.   That could be right, but given there'll be plenty of tickets to shift for BST, could it not just be false info doing the rounds to protect that?? Not that I think Madonna would struggle to shift tickets, or that Glastonbury would have that much impact, but still - would probably still make sense to protect ticket sales when it's announced?
    • Given BST recently I wouldn't expect it as rock heavy as that. I kinda am expecting it'd be where The Cure play though as I'm expecting a second year touring of them
    • Id suggest they would need another new album before they play again - Otherwise the show is going to probably be very similar to the one they played at the last festival.
    • Absolutely not, I dont know of it selling out but they needed TFG and Skyvip to shift them. Biffy aren't either and they didn't go to TFG and I wouldn't say Kasabian are either and they sold it out the quickest. Liam Gallagher did Finsbury Park as well and subbed the Pyramid Stage, Noah Kahan did two nights at BST and subbed the Pyramid though that's a rare one. Finsbury itself will definitely not grant you top spot, that field can hold 100k      That's fair. I'm definitely in the camp myself that Fender and Harry are most likely.
