They just have to really. A little disappointing in the John Peel tent in 2008 (far to quiet) but every other time I've seen them they've been brilliant. I agree with Bradders that they should be high up on the Other Stage this time round.

Saw them on Later with Jools Holland (a week or two ago - may have been a repeat) and I couldn't believe how bad Johnny Marr sounded. That was the worst I've ever heard him perform and I didn't think he was capable of being that atrocious. I'm sure he's enjoying himself with The Cribs, but musically it seems that he's imploded.

Just seen them at Southampton Guildhall a couple of weeks back - absolutely excellent (despite crap sound that night) - Marr has added an extra dimension to their sound.

I hope they play next year, preferably headlining John Peel one night or the Park

saw them a few weeks ago for the third time and Jarman still can't hold a note, he's ok when doing the shoutier form of singing but anything else and his voice goes to shit, i hope they do play so it makes my decision on who to see much easier asit wont be them thats for damn sure!

Really hope they play, high up on t'other stage or a nice late afternoon Pyramid slot would do well. Either that or a John Peel headline slot.

They would probably top my list of "Be Somewhere Else When Playing" bands. "Oh look at us we're so real - yeah, I am going out with the girl with a massive chest who pretends to be working class cockney but is actually a Brit school graduate with a Bontempi".

I'm not criticising the taste in women though. I think she's rather magnificent for a phoney.

Part of their charm I would say, particularly in this day and age of voice modulators / correctors (say hello Girls Aloud). Their distinctly 'lo-fi' sound has always appealed to my ears - maybe its the old punk ethos that I'm still in love with.....

nah balls to that there's people with unconventional voices that sound good and then there is just piss poor and Ryan Jarman seems to fall into the latter as far as live performances go, well from what i have seen anyways.

saying all this i do think it's a given they will play next year and either headine the park stage or second or third to last on the other stage or similar.

the cribs are one of the best live bands i've seen. i'd love to see them at glastonbury. wasn't sure about the new album at first but it grows on you after a while, it's just so different to their other three albums.

I used to be really into them but I've gone off them a lot since Marr got involved, I loved him in the Smiths but I don't like what he's done with the Cribs. I'd maybe see if them if they played but I wouldn't make as much effort as I'd have done few years ago.

Seen them a few times before but each occasions been 'average' not brilliant, but not awful either! However I really like the new album, so would definatly go and see them!

Would like to catch Marr with Modest Mouse (friends favourite band) in the morning, Cribs in the afternoon then can finish the day with the Smiths

Great band. Get them booked - despite their vocal allegiance to a particulalry crappy city. High on the Other Stage would be a good bet, even though i have a strange aversion to that stage, just something about it i dont like. Maybe it's a condition.
