Vampire Weekend

Was lucky enough to go and see Vampire Weekend at a small intimate gig in London last night, They played over half of their new album and they were all pretty good with one or two standout tracks.

I think they are a must to play next year, Went down well when they played in 2008, Emily Eavis has said they are one of her fav's in the past, new album out in Jan and they're touring the early part of next year so surely they'll be making an appearance? I can see them 3rd down on the Other or headlining the Park.

I'm pretty sure they'll be there, the evidence all points to it as you say.

Never really been grabbed by there stuff, apart from a couple of tracks. Never seen them live though so would like the chance to do so.

I saw them at T and was a bit dissapointed they didnt play the kids dont stand a chance! One of my favourite songs!

Their set was amazing and I am pretty sure they will be at Glasto next year!

Yeah they didn't play the kids dont stand a chance last night either! Shame as its a great song

Totaly agree. Seen them 2008 twice, Glasto and ACL Fest. top live band

Seen them 3 times now and they are always brill, pretty sure they must be there!

love love love - saw them at Reading and even though the crowd was shite i jumped about like a nutter... they are brilliant!

Where did you see the setlist? Quite want to know the name of one of their new songs but couldn't hear them say what it was!

It was tiny. I was stood about halfway back and the band were only about 5 metres away. At a guess there was about 300 people in their max. Unfortunately there were a few nobs in there who were trying to start a mosh pit but the majority of the crowd were really good.

They were awesome in '08. One of my favourite moments of possibly my best ever Glasto Would love to see'em there next year. Seeing them in such a tiny venue must have been amazing...

I've seen them twice at festivals and both times sounded pretty dire/private school rock but each to there own, so for the ones who want to see them I hope they play for you.
