irons
Yeah, Is anyone got anything planned? I'm still looking at NE, same bus as last year. It suited me fine, but taking Alison this year so may look to alternatives.

rachbon
boilerman - are you still taking the bus on the tuedsday night to arrive on the wednesday morning? this is still an option for me and rexclark, it's either that or national express. the train is too expensive. bunchy
I'm getting the National Express coach from Carlisle at 02:50 on the Wednesday morning after it left Glasgow at 01:00. Gets to Glasto around 10:30 Wednesday morning...hopefully! Cost from Carlisle is £72 so add maybe another 10 or 20 onto that from Glasgow. rachbon
me and rexclark have booked national express. £197 for the two of us. bus is leaving at 1am wednesday morning, due to arrive at 10:40. should i add an extra few hours onto that for traffic? reading about luggage allowances on the website, it says you're only allowed two suitcases. but i'm thinking, everyone on the bus will be going to glastonbury so they'll probably take that into consideration and just let folk take all the luggage that they need, as long as it all fits on the bus obviously.. i'm going to travel as light as i can. i'll have my rucksack for all my clothes and stuff, but i was thinking i'll need one of these for my booze (a smaller, foldable version). ampersand
national express were dicks at latitude. made me take everything off my sack truck cos it had to stand up without everything on it. pointless excercise. just bear that in mind if you're planning on gaffa taping it on or whatever. ampersand
it won't be far off. we paid about 65 quid each two years ago. so with 'inflation' it wouldn't surprise me. would probably cost me near enough that on petrol!

ampersand
It was maginally cheaper before Christmas. It is ridiculous but I'd rather that than have to lug my stuff off and on loads of different trains and then have to get a shuttle bus. It'll save alot of hassle. I hope.
