I WILL be healthier and fitter

I WILL see sunrise at the Stone Circle

I WILL get away from the big stages even more

I WILL NOT stand out in the sun all Friday evening without suncream, be convinced by my mate that Tennents Super is an acceptable mixer with vodka, miss all the Friday headliners who's clash I'd deliberated long and hard about, throw up so much my girlfriend calls medics over who (rightly) find it hilarious and fall asleep with my face in my own sick

I will not get so wrecked on Friday that I cant leave my tent all day saturday due to a haze of hangover, paranoia and beer sweats.

I WILL stick to vodka

I will get to the healing fields and get a massage and try to find the sauna thingy

I will not follow the crowds

I will explore the hidden nooks and crannies.

Glasto 2010, the year of trying different things...

I will see the sun come up at the stone circle. (too pissed by far and went back to tent every night)

I will not get too pissed too quick every night.

I will see bands I wouldn't normally see, avoid the main stages and hit Trash City etc. hard.

I will not get raging Glastobelly and end up eating Diacalm like M&M's.

I will definitely be trying the organic mead again (yummy!) :P

I will do my best to get a cancelled ticket and if I do I will have the best first full-5-day Glasto ever. I will watch sunrise at stone circle, I will won't share a spliff with the hippies [but if I do I will make the very best of it] and I will check out Trash City etc after dark.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
