Got thru on t'internet by 9.10

On deposit booking screen, one reg number ok, one failed - have no idea why either.

Tried again numerous times, and on phone....same issue.

Have had to wait until today to re register the dodgy one and now am hoping and praying there's another chance to buy.

I won't even contemplate not going ....

Never.

Oh, and I HATE SeeTickets, by the way, with a massive passion.

Why did only one of my reg numbers work - they can't even tell me that!

Seetickets f**ked it up for me. Was trying for agges. Eventully get through and it tells me that why registration number has been used to book a ticket already. Im like, quality ive got my ticket then. So off to work i go and come back to see ive still not got a confirmation number and no outstanding orders. Thanks See.

That could be true. I've wanted to go to Glasto for a few years now but nobody would go, and then there's a good weather year I have a few folk to go with.

Also, looking at leeds. One year it was brilliant weather and we all were up for it the following year. 08 it was a total mudbath and did dampen the weekend quite a bit and we didn't want to go in 09.

If anyone is still waiting on a confirmation number if you goto the site and try to track your order it probably won't help but for some reason it seems to send you the confirmation email when you do it as it's happened to me twice now.

After a very wet one, the vast majority of people will think 'never again'. For most of us, that feeling dissipates (it did for me after getting home, showering then watching the highlights on Sky +) but for others, 'never again' means 'never again'. Until they see the baked, dry ground the following year, kick themselves and get themselves sorted for T-day the next year!!

Just happy now Mr Eavis has now got all the £50 deposits/full ticket £185 he can stick them in a high interest account and pay the charities a bit more this year

Had problems with my registration number for hours, then realised I had written two numbers in the wrong order, then bought my mum's, sister's, and own tickets with little problem...

Sadly my girlfriend's parents failed to give her the money she needed for the ticket (It was meant to be her birthday present), and I couldn't afford her deposit by about £3, mainly due to buying her ticket for 2009... Hadn't been worried about getting a ticket tomorrow in the slightest. Nowhere near as happy as I should be about my confirmation email having arrived a couple of hours ago

I feel so bad for you guys who did not get tickets. Normally when ticket day is mad we have never even been close to getting tickets. This year we got our reward for such pain and heartache.

The licenced number is 177,500.

Of that number, around 135,000 tickets are made available for sale, with the rest taken by performers, staff, kids, etc.

All of the tickets available for sale yesterday were sold - every last one of them is what I'm being told from various sources, and I believe those sources.

This was the first time I've ever not got up religiously two hours before they went on sale, rallied my troops by phone and text to makes sure they're all awake and, bashed the phones and interent like a serious OCD sufferer until everyone had their ticket. Got complacent this year, it's my own silly fault, but I feel absolutely gutted. Won't be summer without Glastonbury, and if I don't manage to scrape a ticket from somewhere I don't see how I'll be able to be in this country during Glastonbury week. Gutted. Tit.

50 this year myself & next year will be my 4th Glasto in a row. I always wanted to go but never got the chance, thinking I was too old!! You're going to so love the experience.

Enjoy your travels, if you need pointers about where to go & what to see, you'll get loads of useful, varied & often random advice on the Discussions aprt of efestivals. In fact there's an opion & advice about just about everything on there!

If you need a ready made bunch of folk to camp with there will no doubt be at least one efest camp. Keep your eyes peeled on here in the months to come. Some will atempt to be horribly organised, others will just be a bunch of dirty smelly hippies (well they will be by the Monday) camped in the same area.

Now then. I'm back for my annual dip into all things efestival.

It's very strange that all tickets sold out. I've spent the day convincing friends who lost out that they need to be vigilant over the next few weeks in case any do become available again. This is usually the case. Plus, there are bound to be a number of peeps who have paid a deposit and won't be in a position to pay the balance - credit crunch, and all that.

I did my usual trick of remembering at 11am, struggling for 20 minutes and then finally getting confirmation that the 2 I was after had indeed been purchased successfully.

Good to see that some tickets went to newbies (according to the various forum posts anyway). Also very good to see that people still love this festival and regardless of who or what will be performing people just want to be there. And with this being the 40th anniversary, it should be all the better!

I've been going now since 1989 - only missed one during that time, and that was to receive a new kidney - actually, the operation happened to fall over the same weekend as the festival. I do believe I might have had a moan about that via this forum! Anyway, those that didn't get a ticket, don't lose hope, try to get a job, get someone you know to purchase a suitcase that's capable of carrying you through the gates unnoticed or do what ever it takes.

Me too. I was totally confident that the tickets would be on sale for months before they sold out. Couldn't have been more wrong. I'm an idiot and apologise profusely to anyone that listened to my ill-informed, lazy drivel about why it makes more sense to buy your tickets after the rush.

I didn't think this 'T-day' generated anywhere near as much hysteria as the April ones in years gone by. Most people I mentioned it to at the weekend had no idea about it. I wonder what this means the 2010 Glastonbury crowd will be like? Will there be legions of well-equipped, well-informed Glasto-goers, wheeling their trolleys in tight formation towards their habitual campsites? Will all the monorail badge-wearers be stood round looking forlorn because there's nobody there that isn't in on the joke? Will the lack of last-minute ticket-buyers mean there's less a*seholes or will it mean the festival crowd is less diverse and less fun?
