Just to confirm, from Glastofest twitter: "Glastonbury 2010 is now sold out. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. Confirmation emails are still being sent."

Didn't think it would sell out in a day if I'm honest. Thought it would be at least a couple of days.

Blimey, I really didn't think that would happen. Is that all 140k (or whatever it is) gone then?

I really feel for anyone who's been trying all day today and just been stuck on that queue page. Good luck in the sale after deposits get returned.

I'm annoyed because two of my mates didn't get their arses in gear to get registered in time. They were hoping to buy early next week. Guess it'll be the resale for them too...

(This has now also been confirmed by the Glastonbury people on Twitter: http://twitter.com/glastofest/status/4610603879.)

At this point it's probably worth pointing out that See Tickets don't usually authorise payments in real time for big sales like this, so usually a good few tickets get cancelled for declined cards / duplicate purchases etc. (Not sure if duplicates are possible with the Glastonbury system.)

Usually these tickets dribble back on in the hours / days after it being declared sold out. Whether that will happen here, or they'll just add them in to the returns sale, I don't know. But it's definitely worth keeping your eyes peeled over the next few days.
