I promised myself I wouldn't look at this thread until Monday but I'm too weak to resist. At least things are getting a bit more Bavarian again. The low on the previous runs does seem to getting downgraded. It's definitely all still to play for.

I'm not sure if I can take much more of this.

I would say it's like watching England, but it isn't. This is up and down all the time, England are more down then down again.

I need a lie down. No rain. No compromise. And no idea of what the f**k is happening.

It's Countryfile tomorrow with their 7 day forecast which is usually pretty accurate.

Fingers crossed

Me too, weather is a drug!

Far more positive today, perhaps it's karma after that dire match last night, the weather Gods may be taking pity on us so all to play for.

Will be interesting to see what later runs do to that Low, hopefully it'll still be shrinking, the Netweather bods seem a bit more confident of some sort of change after yesterday's gloom. :)

Ow ow ow ow ow.

If drinking is meant to make everything better then why did I still find that England failed to beat Algeria last night when I woke up this morning.

On the plus side, at least the forecast seems to have picked up a bit.

I just want to check something.

Yesterday - we were doomed.

I just checked the charts on netweather - which now say we'll hardly have any rain WHATSOEVER throughout the 5 days.

They're toying with us!!

Why do i keep coming back to this damn thread....it is sending my grey

after last nights disasters both for the weather and the overpaid fukers in S.A I was proper down and was giving up on both the wrold cup and this damn thread, but as others have mentioned on here, here i am back again like a cheap hooker going back to her pimp for a fix...now glimmers of hope again, and lets face it we will all be cheering the boys on at the pyramid (hopefully in the sunshine) on wednesday afternoon..

I am not sure which is more frustrating, but heres hoping there are improvements on both fronts in the coming days!!!!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
