Took us about three hours but me and the good lady have our tickets. We missed this year because my other half was 8 months pregnant and didn't want to take the risk. I agreed, despite the fact Blur were playing so really didn't wan't to miss out on the 40th Anniversary Festival!

I've taken a screen print of the page that says

"Thank you for booking online with Seetickets.com for your Glastonbury 2010 tickets

Thank you for your order

You have ordered:

2 £50 DEPOSIT ticket(s)

for Glastonbury 2010"

and now I'm going down the pub!

Good luck to everyone still trying!

I used to get really angry that I thought people with better computers had a better chance. Then someone used the anology that it's like the diffrence between trying to park a formula 1 racing car and a battered old mini in the centre of London.

The formula one car may be able to go faster, but the mini has just as much chance of happenning to be passing at the moment a space becomes free.

Don't give up hope! Although I have to admit that i was nearly in tears trying to find somewhere to park my Nissan micra in Boldmere high Street last night - and i only wanted some chips!

My only comfort is that they must have some left if they are still busy. And I need only 1 this time, so fingers crossed.

Problem is, I have an ankle biter crawling 'round my feet, trying to distract me, he doesn't understand the magnitude of the event yet.... :)

I assume I have a ticket.

I got told there were no nodes for a while

Then I went back the the beginning and was asked if I'd already paid my deposit.

I don't really know if I have or not, but I guess I may have done, its hard to tell.

i might sack this off and go to the pub to watch the match in a bit.

looks like they must have turned the registration checker off for now. i'll have to do it when this rush has passed or when the deposits get returned.

    • You do get some weird swings here and there, so... Cypress Hill?
    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
