I'm travelling down to my wife's uncle's place (about half an hour from Larmer Tree) on the Thursday afternoon so for me the whole adventure is actually only THIRTEEN days away which is ridiculously exciting! Two weeks from now I'll already have seen Mumford & Sons and be beside myself about seeing the mighty EITS...

Can't work out if it's because I haven't been to a festival since Glasto '94 (it's taken 15 years for the memories of the stolen tent/smashed car/bitching girlfriend to be totally overridden by the memory of Radiohead in top gear), because it will be my first break in months, or because it just sounds so damn ace.

I've f**ked up my knee and will probably be on crutches. If it pisses down I don't know what I'll do. I'm less excited and more bloody minded about going anyway. How will I carry my cider? If I sit down in the tipi tent how will I ever stand up again?

Have you been before? Last year a lot of people took chairs, and it didn't seem to cause any problems (I could have done without them taking up so much space right at the front when I wanted to dance, but other than that it was fine, and you certainly won't be alone).

NO... its not impolite..... Does anyone remember the couple tho who were at the front in the middle last year with their chairs and looked really really miserable until I think Low came on?? Actually not sure who was playing but they caused a few titters Sorry to hear about the crutches Sadwitch...I think that you should make the most of it...a Sedan Chair would be good
