if they were to ban falgs at Glasto - which appears to be very unlikely - it would only be likely to be for the crowds in front of stages, and not completely.

i suspect policing any ban may have been a deciding factor in deciding against it....i mean who decides what constitutes a 'flag' ? I have a small fishing pole which has some flashing balls on the top to enable my wife (who oddly for a Glasto go-er is not good in crowds on her own) to find her way back to me from the bar/loo etc.

It would be pretty draconian if some jobsworth told me it wasn't allowed...but you could guarantee some idiot in the crowd would say it spolit there view for the 10 mins it was up...

....that said i still think that fella with the sausage banner needs to be castrated publicly...
