They were excellent - best that I have seen them for ages.

They played a good mix of stuff from their first four albums - was not an Eight Legged Groove Machine show and did not play any new stuff.

hmmmm... we saw them on the sat night too.... decided to go there rather than go t'other stage and pyramid headliners. I didn't think they were that good TBH. dunno why? sound was a little cack and they just seemed to be going through the motions.

Maybe you didn't go to the same gig as I did!

Fantastic set, great crowd, and for once, Miles Hunt really seemed like he was enjoying himself playing the old hits.

Left the Avalon stage a bit deaf in one ear... :)

Hey we were right down the front in the middle too - 13 year old was desperate to be at the front for at least one act over the weekend - think we picked the right one

Caught some of Edward II before the stuffies came on and they were good as well - never heard of them before but were a catchy cross between reggae and english folk - weird and very Glastonbury

      Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.

      Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
