Campsite news...

We're based quite high up on the site here so we can see quite a bit of the camping. So I just popped out for a gander and here's how it looked.

Pyramid Field, including Big Ground, Kidney Mead, Home Ground and Row Mead looks pretty chocca.

Pennards looks busy too, altough apparently that's where the stewards are currently suggesting folk go.

Park Home Ground is looking busy but with plenty of spaces still available.

Oxylers by the other stage is filling but still roomy.

The most green spaces I can see right now are South Park, right up the hill behind The Park Field, and Williams Field up beside the Stone Circle.

I can't quite make out many of the more low laying areas, but I'll get someone to let me know what the offical site view is.

Any requests?

Right, the latest we've got is this...

Most of the North of the site is heaving right now. There's still some places available around the John Peel and in the Old Cinema field area, and all around the Wickett's Fields, but they're filling fast.

Whoever asked about Paines and Dairy - they're still looking good for space, as is South Park, up the hill behind them.

The Family Field is now full, and they're sending all families down to Pennards

Your best bet at the moment is to head down to the south of the Railway track, as that's still looking clearest.

I'll keep you postd with any more news as I get it.

Latest new from site security on camping...

Areas with lots of spaces...

Spring Ground

Paynes Ground

South Park

Long Ground

In general the south of the site has plenty of spaces

Areas that are full...

Pennard Hill

Dragon Field

Green Field

Big Ground

Home Ground

Kidney Mead

Row Mead

The Family Field is also full, so families must go to Pedestrian Gate 3 and ask for directions.

The rest of the campsites are medium to heavy, so the best bet is to head south where there's visibly more room from this side of the site!

Any update on this? My mate just called, he just had to walk around the site for an hour trying to find somewhere to put his tent. Said he asked all sorts of stewards and they all said, just put it wherever you can squeeze it!

Doesn't sound too impressive!

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
