tattoo bar... or something

There's a bar in Shangri-La which only lets you in if you have a tattoo, and there's a tattoo parlor next to it in case you really want to go in.

Don't think any bars charge entry, it's covered in the £175 ticket price.

I hope they're only doing transfers, a festival is the worst place to get a tattoo or piercing done, it's simply too difficult to keep it clean and protected in that environment, plus you don't know if it will get infected, or the quality of the person doing the tattos and piercings. It would be very foolish IMO.

yeah, I agree, LV was I think, much worse and there was a real snobbery in LV, didn't like it at all. It was all 'we're more underground than you lot' vibe to it. Jumped up little shits.

I think it's pretty cool haha, they're risking getting sued by some angry parents if they're real tattoos but being still wreckless and young I kind of hope it's real tattoos... I'd imagine the tattoo artists will filter any intoxicated requests like 'ket' on someones forehead in cursive font  .

Alcohol and tattoos do NOT mix, ever! Alcohol thins your blood and makes you bleed a hell of a lot more, and the dehydration of a hangover will make you pass out. I used to hang out in a tattoo shop and I picked up a lot of very sensible advice in there, at best you're going to end up with a tattoo you will regret one way or another, it's something that should be done properly in licensed premises with a proper tattoo artist, not at a festival. Stick to henna or transfers!
