looks a good line up, being indoors this year obviously gives them more options to show movies. I know last year they had films from the wednesday , wonder if theyre doing that this year or sticking to that schedule

Grindhouse!!! Awesome!!! Saw it by chance two years ago at this small cinema in Brum, it was awesome! Definitley a must see for me. I like the idea of 3D at Glasto too, that'll be interesting. Would be even funnier to see stoned or pissed people watching Coraline 3D, they'd sh*t themselves!!! :D

Really? I think that it's a cracking cinema lineup (not that I ever make it to the cinema at Glasto).

There are several of last year's best films on there (Slumdog, Waltz with Bashir, Dark Knight, RocknRolla, Star Trek, Let the Right One in etc. etc.), plus the Grindhouse double bill is great, and well worth seeing; I think it will be really suited to Glasto!

I might even get up early to see the 3D films. I took my neices to see Monsters vs. Aliens at the IMAX and the 3D was incredible! (Imagine it on mushies :D )

So what's the story with films this year anyway. Are they all inside? Or are the later one's on an outside screen? I can see a tent being a problem considering the amount of people that used to go to the cineme field after the bands (especially on Thursday).

Not done a search, so feel free to abuse me if I've missed another thread!!!

I am also a little disappointed at the lack of outside cinema - its not the same being inside - We only went to the outside ones last year. But as there is no choice we will have to go inside - Do the early ones get busy I wonder?? I'm not getting up too early in the morning -

Already trying to figure out what the tbc (3d) film might be on Sunday. Possibilities could be the Jonas brothers(hope not) Up (might be ok)and one i had not heard of the Battle for Terra (which looks good) also Ice age 3 (yay) but not due out till early July so probably not. How will they do the glasses? will it be - give your glasses back at the end of the film? If so I can see them running out!

Also does the Mama Mia (would have been much better outside) slot mean it clashes with the cider bus meet?

    • There’s a few in there which could go either way or I’m not bothered if I miss but think that’s now be pretty set.  Few rubbish clashes like Kasabian/Loyle plus Reytons/Pixies/CMAT but I’ll head with the lads to the most popular one.   (And yes no Byrne or Twigs, just can’t into either)
    • I saw somewhere they were advertising Lewis' day as him live on Glagow Green and only mentioned Amy Mcdonald and CMAT as support, 0 mention of the festival  I completely agree this will probably be the last one which is a shame because the first 2 seemed so promising and now its turned into middle of the road rubbish with acts you can see everywhere else  Anyone know if the BBC are covering it next week as it'll be fascinating to see how full (or empty) it is
    • Did anyone catch Viagra Boys last night? A rollicking good set, with a little more free jazz than I expected.   if you’re up early, Walabi is doing a super job in the Cupra Pulse. There till six.

    • They really dropped a bollock on their lineup this year. They went with Richard Ashcroft because he did well as Oasis support - But realistically, you're not getting 50k people in a field to hear the 4 or 5 songs they know at like £70+ a ticket. Can't get my head around the Kasabian booking, either. Finsbury Park was a bold move for them, and yes it sold out, but I think you're more likely to see people make the journey to London if they want to see them rather than Glasgow. A second similar capacity show was always going to be a big ask for them.
