flyingmonkeypigs
Just been considering Muse as the potential 4th headliner that never materialised, do we know the reason for this? If not, Muse are in the process of gearing up for new album and tour etc... maybe they felt this secret slot could be the better way of trialling new, unheard material. Or maybe I need to stop finding more ways of finding ways Muse and Radiohead will be at this years fest, and concentrate more on the best line up imo, since I started going (2005)
joshwarrr
would be cool if they did. but muse have such a reputation for putting on huge shows with lights and lots of spectacular stuff, would be a bit out of the ordinary and might not be what muse fans would expect. joshwarrr
Understand your point, but they showed they can strip their shows back at least to some degree at their RAH show last year, and still keep the atmosphere. My wishful thinking is stretching a bit far me thinks lol, but am determined to catch them at Glasto one day. It was watching their set on the tv in 04 that made me force my mum into taking me in 05 haha (I was only 13 tbf)
Ice Fatality
Muse would be great - although I'm convinced if they headline any festival next year, it will be Reading/Leeds, along with Libertines, Glasto headliners could be anyone, have a feeling it will be 2 huge acts (including Radiohead), and a Kings of Leon style headliner, a band that's just about on the fringes of public awareness, but not broken through properly yet - would love it to be Arcade Fire but that's wishful thinking >.< (Not that the rest of this post doesn't have a good helping of that )

IamChappu
Didn't the drummer from Muse dad die just after they came of stage in 2004? Might put them off returning? Hope not though as would be cool to see them there.

Bort
Radiohead, Daft Punk, Pulp reunion are the headliners.
abu hamster
I think he did but they also said it was the best moment of their lifes up until they found out he'd died, so I reckon they'd still be well up for headlining. Okky if that was next years lineup I don't think it would ever be bettered

ElDavide
There is evidence (albeit all speculative) to support this on www.muselive.com (fansite) and www.twitter.com/musewire (official must twitter). But I wouldn't get your hopes up too much - just in case this "massive" headliner is a total anti-climax

dan8k
The fourth headliner was fleetwood mac, if they play at the park i will personally roll up on stage to eat my own head.
ralph250
Sorry if someone else has already said this but next year should be the year off. They do three on, one off. It's necessary to keep the place in good order and recover from the festivals.
oyyouno
i read somewhere that the council that gives glasto their licence guaranteed it up until the 2010 festival, so id guess this means it will be on next year for sure, with a year off in 2011 maybe? just a guess
oyyouno
but next fallow year is now 2012 assuming they get license sorted. was gonna be 2011, but GFL decided to push it back to avoid the olympics.

Originalshez
ROlling Stones next year. Probably the only band that size who are still active who haven't done Glasto yet.
