yeah we know, its in the other threads, and doesnt really deserve a thread of its own. I dont mean to be a dick - with you being a noob and all, but we are all a bit "meh" about the fear factory announcement round here TBH

I've never seen Fear Factory and I've always wanted to, so I'm well chuffed with the announcement :P I'm really excited about Sonisphere, few people moan about it, but don't quite know what else they want!?

personally if they try and fob me off with anything less than nirvana, soundgarden, sublime, snot, aerosmith, the clash, original guns n roses, pearl jam, van halen, springsteen, the stones, the who, faith no more, original sepultura, free blowjobs, £1 pints, pristine toilets and mediteranean weather, i'm gonna make a right fuss.

I think only Faith No More are possible out of those. Cornell's doing his own stuff, there's no chance of any of the other re-unions, and the other acts have far too big an ego to play under Linkin Park (and rightly so)

The only bands there that are good are guns N roses And Slipknot

Mediteranean Weather would be shit as every one will be all hot and pissed off and if the pints are £1 you might get a blowjob off some guy if you play your cards right

If you dont like the line up or anything about this awesome festival Then just dont go instead of just making A fuss about it

Man people need to stop being such whiney little bitches.

If you don't like it don't go simple as.

The bands announced are amazing.

However the only thing i think they did was by making linkin park a headliner they shot them self in the foot, as like you say no one will play under them well no one big enough to support all this hype about the upcoming announcement.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
