It's been a few years since the Cure have played Glasto - what are the chances of them as an outside bet Sunday evening Other Stage headliner?

They've just closed Coachella, which is a pretty big deal,

So imagine coming back to their OWN country and headlining the Other stage in the wake of Panic at the Disco.

Wasn't there a rumour knockin' about that Eavis had managed to secure The Cure for the festival aniversary next year? Frankly I'd prefer that wouldn't like clash between Blur and The Cure, even though The Cure would win hands down.

when did the cure get good again? they spent all the 90s and the 00s being dreadful, a parody of themselves. Have they done anything good lately? (Genuine question. If they have, I'd be interested to hear it)

About 3 or 4 years ago Mr Eavis slagged them right off, saying they had headlined 3 times and been awful 3 times...... do you think he would book them again ?

Plus zero chance of second stage, it would be pyramid headline or nothing doing!

ps. i saw them headline 1995 and it made me the big fan i am today

I thought they were good in 95 too so don't understand why they get slated for previous performances. I really enjoyed it - and after what I'd done to myself for the previous two days, that really is saying something!
