I wouldn't say V is for people with a totally eclectic taste in music, but I'm very excited about Soulwax playing. Mystery Jets were amazing at Reading last year as well, and noisettes have been brilliant everytime I've seen them. It's certainly looking a lot better, though I can't understand why Human League are so low.

if thats the announcement, im afraid i think its piss-poor. The only thing there for me is human league. None of what i was hoping for are in that lot..heres keepin me fingers crossed for the mystery 3 bands as yet unknown

But it isn;t varied or eclectic. It's teenie-bop pop and indie=schmindie in the main. Still, could be worse; least Nickelback aren;t confirmed. Yet....Minf V are lazy enough to book 'em

I think its pretty good line up, Natalie Imbruglia is a good addition, never played before and in a decent slot, I like how low Human League are, means theres stuff going on in the day

Im also happy how low Starsailor are, means theres great starts to the day both days with Starsailor and Ocean Colour Scene offering some great chilled out singalongs in the sun with a beer!

Also glad to see Athlete back on the bill, and The King Blues is a shock thought they would be Reading and Leeds bound

Im happy with the line up, would still like to see Gomez added though

Says on v festival home page that we have to listen to absolute radio on next tuesday to hear the next exciting announcement of bands! finally! means we have to listen to the shitty presenter like but never mind. heres hoping for some welcome surprises!!!!!!!!!!!
