I Hate Bring Me The Horizon!!!! Its just as bad as Metro Station playing!

The rest of the announcement is good. The Answer were good in 2006 supporting The Who, Fightstar aren't bad at all, Static-X shall be cool. Overall pretty decent announcement!

I'll have The Answer overload by the end of the summer after seeing them twice with AC/DC. I'll still watch them though, and Stone Gods have been pretty good fun both times I've seen them.

The rest, meh.

I'm pleased with this annoucment.

Apart from Bring Me the Horizon. Probably the worst band I have ever seen live!!! The singer is a cock and I will be doing everything to miss them. If they clash with the rather rubbish Go:Audio i will still not watch BMTH!

Fightstar I am looking forward to watching. And shinedown, Staind and Static X.

Bring on Download!!

If theres nothing else on whilst Bring Me The Horizon are on, it'll be that special time of day at download festival where I make a little trip to the portaloos

Didn't stop up for this one, and was glad I didn't.

Well happy when I saw The Answer were confirmed, I thought they were Sonisphere-bound - but the rest of the acts were collectively nothing to be bothered about.

Static-X, Sevendust, Stone Gods, all bands I'd see if nothing else on.

Will check out Volbeat, Facecage and Auger Bane.

Really don't care about/immensely dislike the others.

Hope for CKY, The Wildhearts and Evile next time.

Saying it again! Seems to be a real lack of thrash bands this year.We have Lawnmower Deth, erm Anvil, and I suppose Trivium. :)

Really surprised Sacred Reich haven`t been annouced playing festies and dates in Europe round the time nothing Download weekend. :P

Oh I know a few who like them, general 'sceney hardcore' types. Who like alot of other rubbish bands to :P

To be honest I was thinking before this announcement they'd be good for 3rd stage headliner for the friday, as just about everyone there with a decent taste in music will be watching Faith No More or Motley Crue anyhows!

haha yeah i guess that it's good for some shit bands to be on the bill - they come in handy to clash with awesome bands :P plus they keep the scenesters at bay :)

shame this isn't the case for the apparent prodigy/slipknot and motley crue/FNM clashes tho :)

Yeha those are 2 annoying clashes. Slipknot are the only band from the 4 I'd say I was 'a fan of', so gotta be them, and saw Motley Crue last time round so gotta be Faith No More this time.

I'm hoping for someone good to headline 3rd stage on sunday though, neither Def Leppard or Trivium appeal to me. Please Gojira! ;)

starting to think my headliners are gonna be Faith No More & Prodigy, and hoping for someone good on the 3rd stage for sunday. the Slipknot/Prodigy clash is a ballache, but i saw Slipknot in december and haven't seen Prodigy since DL 2006. and in total i've seen Slipknot 3 times now and the Prodigy only twice, so reckon they're getting my vote.

but yes, someone good for Sunday night 3rd stage headliner now please!

i missed slipknot in december as i had the flu so can't remember a week of my life.. i woke up after the worst of it and realised that not only had i missed an awesome gig (with machine head and bodom, goddamit) but i'd also missed a psytrance rave party too.. needless to say i was gutted

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
