hmmm, least good band so far, hope the rest of the lineup doesn't follow a similar trend...

just no out and out indie please, if i want that i'll actually go to leeds instead of attempting to dispose of the ticket... :(

Aye, but I'm not convinced they are suited to a rock/metal festival (if that's what this is).

They've certainly got those sort of tunes but not many of them.

I think that nearly all the bands still to be announced will be less metal/rock than the bands announced so far. I believe it's the case that nearly every act so far announced are playing the Metallica day, and the other day will be softer.

I'm probably not going to Sonisphere and I'm into far more stuff than just metal so if I was going, this would probably be good news for me personally BUT... it hardly seems fair on the people that have spent almost 200 pounds on tickets under the assumption that this was going to be primarily a rock and metal festival.

Kinda stinks on the organisers part really...

I like my rock and metal... But there is room for all tastes and a little bit of something different would be nice (as long as its not Girls Aloud or that kind of poo!) My mate who I am going with likes Primal Scream. I dont.. But I hope they get confirmed so he can see them

Well, i gotta say that i'm one of those who's shelled out for a weekend ticket as i thought the remaining bands would be in the same kinda ballpark as those already announced.

If the rest of the bill turns out to be radically different then i will feel like i've been mislead in order to part with my money. :)

I'm not complaining either, would kill to see Metallica and Primal Scream again, and wouldn't mind Linkin Park or Placebo if given the chance to see them. Was just pointing out how there seems to be a lot of bands who played at Leeds in 2003 at Sonisphere.;)

The Darkness as special guests?
