Bands like The View and The Tears were nowhere near as big as them though...

I'd say they're all too big for the lock up, but if they play there then problem solved. As I said I was just throwing out random names who have played high in the tent before, I'm not expecting FR to actually book many of them, or for Brand New to be touring >_>.

No it wont be small, but im thinking it wont be massive either. The crowd will not be as big as kol or arctics. I just dont see the normal reading crowd going for radiohead. Thats going off the point anyway. Im arguing the point of why coheed and brand new were apparently too small to be where they were on nme stage a few years ago.

Radiohead are easily one of the biggest British bands in the world. Even if a lot of weekend goers aren't that excited to see them they ahve the kind of fans who would definitely by a day ticket to see them. That and they have one of the biggest range of fans there is.

That's what I thought about Pearl Jam, but the crowd wasn't as big I expected, despite them being one of the greatest bands ever, both musically and commercially.

I don't understand why everyone doesn't love this band, most of my friends aren't that into them. Carzy. The crowd was too small.

It's not that laughable, I mean the Automatic's second album flopped completely but Kooks second album got to number one and gave them their highest charting single to date. I still agree they would play third though (NME stage might not be so far fetched either)

I'll be quite happy if The Kaiser Chiefs played, although I found there 3rd album dissapointing they are still an amazing live band and should put on a good show.
