Flags for Glasto 2009

Oh yes, Oh yes .... Yes ... I have to do a flag!

Ive never done a flag before..... why ??

Im going to do a sparkley one .... I dont know what exactly but It will most likley be of a pink nature and sparkle a lot .... .

maybe with ribbons too....

my image has been rasterbated, and its on my wall with the outline drawn round it.

fingers crossed it works out. if not i have plenty time to think of something else

Im planning on "borrowing" the sacred school flag on muck up day, if anything its free advertisement for the school so they shouldnt complain.

i need some help from a computer whizz!

i want to draw an image onto my flag ( 5ft by 3ft) using an image printed out underneath.

that means printing the image in seperate sheets A4 into one big image when put together.

does anyone know how to do this? what basic software/programs or internet sites can it be done on?

I can't believe the hatred of Flags!!

I've never taken a flag but imo they look fckin amazing in the crowds.

I think I am going to take a Flag to Glasto, but I imagine I will leave it at the tent as I think it would be a pain carrying it all day, and will def make the tent easier to find.

I hope my flag looks like this... there are two Scottish people and 1 Irish person in the group so that's as deep as the thinking goes.

Hopefully it will be fairly unique.

We will probably be taking a flag with our website logo on, personally I love the flags, it is 'Glastonbury'

if i do take one to the crowds, itll be with an extendable telescopic pole. much easier for walking about with rather than a load of tent poles gaffa taped

I'd have ironed the flag first

But yeah looks good so far

and i just used a basic felt tip, worked fine

That'll look really good, are you going to paint it? You could just buy a scotland flag and an ireland flag cut then in half and sew them back together?

Funny enough I was just thinking that I might start the first one this weekend!!

The othre one is going to have to watch until I order the rest of the stuff from SkyBlue I am afraid, and that won't be until pay day!!
