No no no. Getting them printed is cheating. I highly recommend making your own -- it's very satisfying.

Also, if you exercise your right to wave a flag in front of a stage, I reserve my right to hit you on the back of the head with my shoe. Is that okay? :angry:

people who whinge about them blocking the view must be pretty far back in the crowd so even if their view was unobscured occasionally by a waving flag there wouldn't be much to see so why the bitching and whining?

and as for those maoning about them ruining photo's it's not as if they are lord litchfield and their shots are going to grace the walls of art galleries and such they're just snapshots of the day to look back on and remember how does a flag in shot ruin that?

Mine has been used the past 2 seasons, with around 18 festivals done... so it's a little worse for wear.

I think it was your good self who done the multiple A4 PDF type files of the eFestival logo that I used for tracing round. Was that easy done? If I was to get a design, would it be simple for me to do that again?

Hey Paul :)

I'll just be reusing last year's flag. I'm going to be a little jealous when other people are elbow-deep in fabric paint but halvin junior's a demanding fellow at the moment. Maybe I'll start planning my 2010 design on the sly. :)

I'm planning on bringing a flag, but I'm still not sure what it's going to look like.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking of either cutting out a shaped flag or making it out of something that's not supposed to be a flag (like Y fronts). ;)

Flag=twat

The consolation that we have is that the initial elation of flag bearing soon gives way to humiliation and rejection, leaving aforesaid flag bearer to ponder on their twattiness.

Sorry all flag lovers but there you go. That's just the way it is. :rolleyes:

Is there a way that I can point to /index.php?showtopic=99586">my thread last year (clicky) without sounding like an attention-whore? The answer's no, isn't it?

If someone wants to pick up the baton, I think there's room for a "Flag Building 2009" thread. I'll happily cheerlead from the sidelines. And mix my metaphors. :(

Not only am I very pro flags but I'm also a fan of your thread from previous 2 Glastos. Alot of the tips I read on the forums were very useful.

Also, I'm a fan of your flag and it was one of the first I saw & recognised on the Wednesday when I walked from the car park to seek out the 'Red Triangle' Camp in Pennards last year.

I wish I'd come over to say hi, but didn't make it. Perhaps this year :rolleyes:
