I think NIN will be the only ones who do the UK versions of this. Slipknot are only doing sweden and id imagine Prodigy are only doing a couple too.

They obviously stuck they names up to try and steal people away from Download and will later say "ahhh sorry guys, bit of a technical hitch there...........Metallica anyone???"

Hey I hope they do get all thoses bands. Download has kinda got a good grip on the market for Rock festivals. It'll be nice to see some competition, which will only mean download have to work harder and in the long run will mean they put on a better show and better service. We all win

am i the only one thinking that picture of the Sonisphere 'line-up' is total bullshit? the website has the line-up as being Metallica, Lamb Of God, Mastadon, and Linkin Park... which we knew already!

Yeah I posted it up on here, but I got it from the Download forum

I never ever thought that Slipknot and Prodigy will be there at the UK leg though, theres no chance, if Lamb Of God had to pull Download to play Sonisphere then theres no way Slipknot and Prodigy are going to be allowed to play both in the UK

But NIN could still play the UK leg

End of the day this is a festival reaching out to 7 different areas, so it should be treated as such, all those acts could play, just not the UK leg
