I think there should be a festival rule that if it rains everyone is to stop walking anywhere and wait for it to stop and dry out to prevent the mud from forming.

Even if you need the loo - hold it for the sake of the festival!

The Sunday night/Monday morning WAS depressing in 2007 but we managed to find somewhere which was brilliant, eventually, after hours and hours of searching and trudging through the rain. It was somewhere in Lost Vagueness and was playing mental tunes I wouldn't normally have really danced to. I got glitter thrown all over me and didn't arrive back at my tent until around 7am. I'm so so so so glad I didn't give up trying to find somewhere like I oh so very nearly did!

New Metoffice update;

UK Outlook for Monday 22 Jun 2009 to Wednesday 1 Jul 2009:

The weather during the last week or so of June is expected to be dominated by high pressure. This will mean plenty of fine, dry and sunny conditions, especially for central and southern areas, but these should affect the rest of the UK to some extent. Winds will be mostly light, leading to cooling sea breezes on many coasts. However, the high pressure is expected to gradually decline away to the northeast near the end of the month, and showers may develop across some southern and southeastern parts of England. Fine and dry conditions with spells of sunshine should continue though across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Temperatures will be generally warm or very warm, especially across inland central and southern Britain at first, then tending towards western Britain later.

Looks OK but as been said by Jackone and Aragon, looks like we might get some rain towards the end of the festival - let's hope it arrives on the 30th June :lol::) Still looking good though WOOHOOO!! :D:)

    • Yep.   The fact that the festival felt the need to fudge the name like that suggests that they see it as a way to showcase solo legends, and on that basis INABS holds true - until it doesn't for whatever reason.
    • Would love to have Marina Herlop for the Auditori (new albun out soon, local act, played both weekends in 2022)
    • I do agree to a point and I will just not buy tickets for some things now cos I know there’s a good chance I’ll get some cheap.   also think the quality of a lot of the artists around is just quite poor at the moment, either touring albums from 20 years ago or poorly received  albums    then also this trend of doing 7 shows at one location, people are tired of travelling and there’ll always be spares close to the time
