Few I want to see there :D

Had a few email exchanges with Robert tonight when he sent me that, however he is very busy with Go North, Rockness etc so don't hold your breath.

I reckon next month now

Will be interesting to hear / see the Lightning Seeds again.

Last saw 'em at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall some years ago at the height of their fame and they were'nt that great.

Mind you, they went down very well with the crowd, so it could have been me!

I reckon they will DEFINITELY be better than the Bunnymen last year anyway ;)

Actually I reckon it's a pretty good line up so far.

I assume that as we have Lightning Seeds we're not getting James now???

Would still LOVE to see Belles & Sebastian as the other headliners ;)

Mmmm, still not sure yet. Bellas looking a better line up, but Loops a better festival. Still not sure, I'll wait till the second headliner is announced. To be honest I'm thinking Bella just now. OCS, Shed 7, Sons & Daughters etc. We'll see. :(

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
    • Yup and they aren't all going to get them, some are going to miss out. Speaking of this, I met someone at RIP who went to RFP and his view was band wise it's value for money but it wasn't a festival itself he'd be rushing to return to. In fairness as well he probably liked more of the headliners there than me this year whereas I was more undercard and he wasn't returning.
    • Maybe Starmer's legacy will be a war with Russia.
    • How were GnR? Seen some videos and pictures and let's just say, the crowd to the sides at the front and in front of the sound tents were let's just say... Sparse compared to LB.
