Lee Harris meets River Styx

Angel Headed Hip Hop is the critically acclaimed work of legendary counter culturalist and poet Lee Harris & producer & rap-poet River Styx. A journey of spoken word over psychedelic soundscapes, jazzed out electronica and spiritualised big beat. The album features Howard Marks (Mr Nice), Aldous Huxley, JC001 (Le Peuple de l'herbe) and many more. The album is being released on Genepool/Universal.

Lee will also be giving a talk about his involvement with counter culture and his interpretation of Alchemy!

Liquid Ross

Without Liquid Ross, the UK trance scene would be in a very different shape. He's as fundamental to Britain as a cup of tea; in fact, in the 2008 Lonely Planet said that once you've seen Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge, the next thing to do is to find out what Ross is up to." The Mosaics

The Mosaics are Dan McClew (vocals/guitar), Ben McClew (bass/b-vocals), Steven Barrass (drums) and Dave Luther (lead guitar/b-vocals). Formed in November 2004, the band soon gained the label of being one of the brightest young prospects to come out of the Northeast, captivating many audiences with their songs and dazzling live performances. With influences ranging from Jeff Buckley and Coldplay, through to U2 and Joni Mitchell, they have achieved a unique style of their own marrying heartfelt lyrics with aching melodies that stand up against the very best pop tunes of today.

exit_state1.jpg

Hey guys we are stoked to be playing The Alchemy Festival in this its inaugural year - for all those that havent heard of us yet we are a rock band from East Lancs likened to Foo Fighters/Nickelback/Queens of the Stone Age.

We recently signed to King Prawn Records and have just released our debut EP.

If anyone wants to get an insight of what we are all about then head on over to our Myspace site HERE

Detailed on the page are links to our EP and such.

We also have a promo interview video

so you can see us and hear our dulcit tones hahahaha - this is interspliced with our Bad Days promo video which should start rotation on Kerrang/Scuzz/MTV early Aug/Sep.

Dont be afraid to add us on MYSPACE or FACEBOOK and get to know us better before our appearance at the festival.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post

See you there!!

Warmest regards

Roy
