Our Cornsnake. He`s named after D H Lawrence who`s the writer of one of my fav poems The Snake

now--would any of you know that one? I fookin love it

sorry--- forgot to say -- its fed on baby mice. Lawrence is about 18m old and over 2ft long --a lovely thing.

Cuuuuuute

You wanna see a goat savaged by an alsation?

[O me likkle darlin SS --how sweet of you to dig that out.. its a while since I`ve read it actually... and tbh --I`m having a little bit of a bad time just now--so that is so cool.

This poem can tell you everything about life and the way we see things (and dont see things)--what prejudices we hold and actions we take,mistakes we make, rash decisions, even the wearing of pyjamas! Ooo--and the mention of a fissure.

How porno is that word eh? But what would expect of DHL? There was some reet owl dorty bastards aboot in them days thee knaas.

I had to study (as a mature student) The Metaphysical Poets--bugger I couldnt get away with it --AND --AND also had to do OTHELLO.

It was about a month into the course before I knew the bugger was black!! A moor? a moor? I thought they were taking about a bit of grassland--was only when i caught a glimpse of the front cover and seen the Moor..and obviously black.

I speaketh my allies to thee--i speak of someone amongst us who bears the toungue of a thousand blades. He cometh from neath his fissure (ooo I know i shouldnt --but I do so love that word) and projects his venom coated with words of Isle of Wightian. I speaketh of Iago the Marrooned.

So cunning is he for to bely his birthright and venture forth to pastures anew where he resideth amongst characters whom he despised from afar. But now,his bones withereing under warming skys, he plays with them,teasing them for their very worth.

And, on occassions rare, he dareth remove himself from the comfort of his entrap and viseth himself upon fesivals of this green land.

Beware my friends, for if you cross the path of this man Iago,he will not make himself known to you, but he will knoweth you and you will knoweth in time that he hath knoweth you.

Yes, beware mine allies Iago will soon be among us with his forked member--beware.
