  1. Anyone know what the increased capacity is? I'm guessing it was in the planning documents?
  2. Great spot and thanks! Wonder what PG-OC stands for. PG-PH is pennard hill pedestrial gate, obviously. Maybe simply "other camping" or "offsite camping"
  3. I'm sure a fair few do it in reverse too - see a rumour on twitter and announce it here as fact. Creates this wonderful little echo chamber.

My first Glastonbury and that day was really special - They were preceded by Elbow and followed by Massive Attack if i remember rightly. Standout memories of them doing Wearing My Rolex with Wiley (before he went weird) and No Fit State. You can see me briefly on that video but I wont try to point myself out. Probably the moment I fell in love with Glastonbury.
  5. The servers were flip-flopping in and out of an error state at around 10:20. Usually when this happens it is because of some other sale taking up the resources of the seetickets servers, though that seems like an unusual time. I think some Arcade Fire tickets went on sale today?
  6. We’re they there last time around? I missed 2019 sadly
  7. Haha I didn’t notice that. “It’s the heart of darkness! It’s the dirt!” I guess he chose that because of the quote “don’t worry about them, because they sure as hell aren’t worrying about you!
  8. Not a prediction or any knowledge, but I saw “Jim” from “Jim’s paint it” post some artwork of a Downing Street party whilst the place fell apart https://jimll.co.uk/collections/new/products/work-event-art-print made me think a crumbling number 10 partying whilst everything around it burns would be somewhat apt in the Southeast corner!
  9. Same goes for worthyview/sticklinch - or even more so. it’s not like they are clad with Egyptian cotton with full bedding and kitchen facilities. All you get is a tent in a quiet area and the use of some showers.
  10. This might have been our problem. We were way back on the hill and a bit tired. With the lack of atmosphere I guess we could have chosen to make our way forward but instead opted to beat the queues to the SE corner
  11. I was also going to say this. Also Radiohead in 2017 we’re meh and we left half way through.

    EE Power Bars

Good tip. If you still want to be contactable, on an iphone you can also enable low power mode (Settings->battery). Doesn't save as much power as flight safe though.
  13. i wondered what that was about! For others benefit these are available at glastonbury.seetickets.com/Tour/Glastonbury-2022

Yep the 25000 mAh+ type chargers cost around £25 quid and *should* last you for the festival. Phones are around 3500 mAh and phablets usually around 5000. You lose about 25% in transfer charging, so they should give even the biggest phones ~4 charges. But worth mentioning you might use your phone more at glasto than elsewhere (checking forums, apps, messaging friends etc). If you have an aging phone battery which needs charging twice a day even one of those bricks might not be enough!
  15. I have managed to get this working as a concept but as it means using my live registration I've been reluctant to add it to my monitor. I might put it on a low-regularity check but i have to make sure I dont jeopardize my ticket!
  16. Good work! I can only give my experience of the 2 person yurt - it has plenty of space for 2. Note the photo on glastonbury's site is different (but i think always has been - we had the same style i've attached a photo of below in 2016 and 2017) so its possible yours may differ differ. A double inflatable mattress takes up about 1/3rd of the space so plenty of room for other stuff. They also have the advantage of a lockable wooden door (wouldn't store my gold reserves there but nice for chargers, chairs, camping tables, stoves, drinks etc). They are very robust with a thick waterproof plastic-fabric wall. Diameter wise they are broadly the same as the belles and they don't have a central pole (i think the bellepads do but i've never been in one before). They have higher sides than the belles so probably feel a bit more spacious. I would strongly prefer the yurt out of the two, and i would say worth the modest additional price. Dont have any real photos of the inside but you can peer inside the door here and see the trellis along the back and the lackof a central pole. I'm a big guy (6ft4) for size comparison! .
  17. There are some 2 person bellepads in sticklinch currently available
  18. yep - still saying Admission Tickets unavailable however.

I think they might have introduced scanning in 2017 from memory, but havent been since then so my memory is hazy.
  20. First one to say "Daft Punk" gets thrown out of the festival.
  21. Nobody is quite sure what Sticklinch will be like as it's the first year. However its worth noting that all the kind of cute "niche" accomodation options (tipis, pod pads, yurts and "true" bell-tents) have been moved to sticklinch. WV will now only have scout tents and a few of the "Glastonbury Bells" (Glastobells as I call them!). Will that mean that WV loses its charm a little? Hard to say. As long as they keep the little food tent and bar at the top of the hill, should still be nice. We're in SL this year in one of the bells, so I'm hoping it'll be similar to how WV was. The expectation is both areas should have flush toilets and showers (its not clear on glastonbury's website, but they have confirmed in private queries). I'm also hoping sticklinch has its own food option similar to the tent in WV (loved getting a waffle and a coffee from there!).

Theoretically if theres enough time to post back, they could be resold at the box office. Unfortunately not really likely to solve the problem of people getting covid a few days before the fest. No chance to transfer to someone you know... they'll see it as too exploitable for touting.

It’s a good genuine question, so no hammering necessary! If i had the symptoms i just had, no. It wouldn’t have been at all enjoyable. Asymptomatic, its a tough one. On the one hand I wouldn’t want to give anyone vulnerable the virus. However, with case rates the way they are currently, anyone who goes and doesn’t have immunity is going to get it regardless of whether I’m there or not, and selfishly i want to be there. If case rates are lower it might be a more difficult decision as you’re taking it somewhere where people might otherwise not encounter it. Kinda glad I’ve just had it. Makes it less likely I’ll need to make this decision in June!

We went to the US last month. A video observed LFT the day before is sufficient for entry into america, which you register with the airline. Its relatively simple. We booked one with project screen and you get a little zoom meeting to show a nurse that you're doing it correctly. As nat also mentioned you should be able to use proof of recovery as an alternative. I caught it 2 weeks ago (after returning) also after having a booster in December, and am now testing consistently negative on an LFT, so if you're similar in many ways having covid now should be perfect timing for you! I'd only be concerned if you are travelling with someone who could catch it from you in the interim who might be a little closer to the travel date.
  25. Ditto. I’ll do what I’ve done in previous years and offer it to post it to someone who needs one in return for a charitable donation
