It could be a genuine available ticket(s) that have all been gathered into someones basket, or could be enabled for a specific persons reg number. Same thing happened around this time yesterday.

Yeah the "glastobells" have more rigid sides and no guy ropes. Think they are marginally smaller and dont have as big doors. Theres been a couple of 4 person traditional bells in sticklinch available all morning if anyone was interested.

yeah agreed - i remember in 2009, and maybe 2010 when the server kept crashing and you'd spend the day trying to get tickets. For some people they had a session pinned to the wrong server, wrong DNS entries and all sorts, and you'd be editing your "hosts" file to point to a working server in order to get tickets.

I could, however, envisage them expanding the wall around the pre-erected sites, effectively removing the pass out gates.

I'm not sure how they'd do that as there's a lot of trees in the way. You could make a more winding path but that would basically make it more steps, albeit shallower. Somebody would probably have noticed if they were in the process of building that and they probably would have started now. If it needed council approval it'd be advertised in the planning office too! Given they are effectively advertising Sticklinch as the "more accessible" alternative to WV, perhaps that indicates they scrapped that idea. It might even have been a bargaining tool tool to convince the council to license more dense camping in sticklinch in the name of accessibility.

This is a good shout though I would say go full on elaborate. Fancy dress is ideal and I did this a couple of times back in my single days.

I do have some code which can do it using a dummy account, i just haven't enabled it in my monitor publicly yet. Its probably possible on other page monitors such as chrome plugins you just need to know what POST values to use.

The solution will monitor the front page which has the "CAMPERVAN/CARAVAN TICKETS - SOLD OUT" button, so if that changes it'll pick up on it. It monitors a few other pages too including the coach and ga tickets pages. Its not specifically checking the page that ordinarily links to as im not sure what the "eventID" for that is - if anyone knows what that is I can monitor that page too.

No and i've been keeping an eye out. We got a 4 person Tipi, but would have preferred the 2 person Yurt or maybe a pod (for the price and for the lockable door).

I've re-activated my self-written page monitor which will fire off emails when something changes. Some people in these forums will probably remember it well from secret sales of old. I think that's a possibility with some of the complaints with water bottles etc. It was in this state for around 45 minutes, but I didn't notice until toward the end (as I was sending test emails at the time)

I've done various degrees of Almost-solo. 2009 and 2010 although i did have people i camped with, I didnt see much of them and generally spent a lot of time by myself. Mostly it was great but Glasto can be an emotionally and mentally draining place and its easy to have a mini meltdown and become aware of your loneliness, just so you gotta look after yourself. Recommend going to meetups like the efests meetups or get involved with the various social media groups, and as others have said have a look for a solo campers thread, theres usually a group who will get together. Side note: there used to be a group of solo and small group campers on here named after a certain geometric shape, but for historic strange, amusing and confusing reasons I'm not sure I fully understand, their name is now taboo 😄.
