    Arcade Fire

Just a worse case scenario, no info leading to it, but it's the reason I wouldn't miss something I was fussed about for a rumour. I'd want some pretty compelling evidence before I changed my plans.

    Arcade Fire

How's this for nightmare fuel, it's widely believed to be Arcade Fire up against Diana so you miss her and it ends up being The 1975.
  5. Ray Davies voice trembling with emotion as he plays "Days" just after Pete Quaife's death. It got me at the time and it's just got me again watching the clip.
  6. The problem with Kunt et al getting relatively regular mainstream exposure is gets that bloody "Wrong Ian Watkins" song stuck in my head for days.

  8. To do this properly one part should be a picture so we get something like: What was the cave venue in the Common renamed to in 2019?
  9. If people are interested in a more general way about the clash between an artist and the power of the state I would heartily recommend The Noise of Time by Julian Barnes. It's a fictionalised biography of Dmitri Shostakovich and focuses on his relation with the Russian state, how far he was prepared to humiliate himself publicly to protect himself and his family. I'm not suggesting that Nina Kravitz is in quite the same position but if anyone is enjoying this debate then it's a fantastic read that deals with these ideas.

    Glast latino

Cimafunk seem quite high profile for Glasto Latino, be great to see them pop up on West Holts as well, they'd have gone down well at The Gully as well but alas that is no more.

  22. So Silver Hayes has announced Firmly Rooted a soundsystem culture stage presumably replacing the Gully/Blues hybrid of 2019. The only dub I can see is Channel One Soundsystem, Dubkasm and Bliss Zion b2b Sasha Steppa. Am I missing anyone else on the poster there are plenty of names I'm not familiar with?

    Silver Hayes

The blurb mentions a soundsystem culture based stage called Firmly Rooted so I think we can expect a few more or Channel One are going to have to do a monster set.
