  1. While I tend to agree, let's not pretend it makes getting a ticket any easier.
  2. I mean, fair enough. But he has similar songs to the above. So nit really sure why someone would be cool with Born To Run but not fuck with Thunder Road from the same album which is cut from the same cloth - and probably even better.
  3. You realise there are still people posting on here all weekend? A lot of people looking at their phone will messaging friends about where to meet or who to see next - or just laughing at a photo someone's just sent them of them meeting Michael in NYC Downlow.
  4. Stormzy and Oasis both headlined on one album.
  5. Adele and Taylor have this much in common - by this time next year they'll both have smashed it headlining the Pyramid.
  6. People are probably just checking @SecretGlasto
  7. Are you sure you don't mean Trevor Horn from off of Buggles?
  8. Ta. Will take the small victories whenever they appear.
  9. Original map is dtill shoeing on tje AXS website: https://www.axs.com/brucespringsteendescriptions
  10. Has he played it at all since the Working On A Dream era?
  11. The boss move from the festival would be to hint at a huge Sheffield indie band in the run up poster day and then announce Pulp in pole position with nary a glimpse of the Arctic Monkeys to he seen.
  12. Probably a new record having seen 4 of the nominees at this year's G.
  13. Nova Twins for El Pointo 2023 imho
  14. Hazza Styles: Mercury Nominee
  15. She's never had a hit single - either in the states or over here. Lizzo is far more in the ballpark.
  16. That and the fact she isn't really on any sort of accelerating trajectory to the toppermost of the poppermost.
  17. There weren't any big git singles off it but it was a real critical success. Glasgow gig was a long way from sold out tbf.
  18. Dunno how much of this is genuine chaos vs a journo not really used to dealing with queues and mud. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2022/jul/25/splendour-in-the-grass-2022-bus-chaos-noxious-mud-and-public-urination-at-an-unbelievably-awful-time
  19. Its obviously shocking - but in terms of strategy there's clearly a sweet spot to buy tickets (either very early or much later on after demand goes down and prices start to become realistic again). If noone buys the shitty seats at £600 there'll be loads going begging at face value in the run up to the gig.
  20. My walking shoes were starting to fall apart (upper separating from the soles) so sought out a new pair. Couldn't get the same sort again as the current version of the shoe isn't waterproof/ Gore-Tex so had to research something entirely new. Fingers crossed I've not been sold a pup. But nuff time to break them in.
  21. Doesn't Dantastic Glastonbury who does the charity bins get all up in the mix at Glastonbury in a Jesus costume?
